What is Green Sea Peel?
The Green Sea Peel is a professional skin resurfacing treatment that uses micro-fine marine spicules instead of acids. Spicules are tiny, needle-shaped structures from natural sea sponge, blended here with algae and botanical extracts. That gives the mask its deep green colour.
Because it works without acids, it is often called a "herbal sea peel", "spicule peel" or "liquid microneedling". It is a clinical treatment, not a relaxing facial, and it is performed only after a skin consultation at Paradise Wellness.
The spicules settle into the top layer of the skin and create thousands of microscopic channels, similar in idea to microneedling but without needles. This prompts the skin's natural repair response, supports collagen production and helps the activator serum (hyaluronic acid, beta-glucan, allantoin and peptides) reach the skin. Over the following days the old surface layer sheds, revealing smoother, brighter skin.
It helps with acne marks and post-acne pigmentation, mild shallow acne scars, uneven texture, dull skin, uneven tone, sun tan, dark spots, open pores, blackheads, excess oil and early fine lines. It is not a replacement for lasers or surgery for deep scars, deep wrinkles or sagging skin. Your doctor will suggest the right option for those.
Many clients notice brighter, smoother skin after the first peel, once the shedding phase ends (about 5–10 days). Pigmentation, marks and texture improve further over a course. Most people need a series of 2–3 sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. Results vary from person to person.

How to prepare
- Stop retinol, AHA/BHA acids and scrubs for 5–7 days before
- Avoid heavy hydrating masks and rich moisturisers for one week before
- If you get dark marks after inflammation, your doctor may start a brightening cream two weeks earlier
- Avoid waxing, threading and tanning on the area for a week before
- Come with clean skin, no makeup

Is the Green Sea Peel painful?
It is not painful, but you will feel a prickling, tingling sensation during the massage and for a day or two after. Most clients describe it as very manageable.
