Arms & hands laser hair removal at Paradise Wellness
Arms are on show more than almost any other area, especially through a long Delhi summer. Waxing them every few weeks takes time, can be painful on the forearms and often leaves behind small bumps and uneven patches. Laser hair reduction offers a longer-term alternative, with a course of sessions planned around how your arm hair actually grows. It also suits clients who find arm waxing leaves their skin red for a day or more.
Arm hair varies a great deal. Forearm hair is often darker and denser than upper-arm hair, and some clients have fine, lighter hair that responds more slowly. At consultation, our doctors look at the colour, thickness and density of your hair and tell you honestly how well it is likely to respond. If your hair is very fine or light, we would rather say so at the start than sell you a course that is unlikely to help. Where hair is dark on the forearms and lighter above, a half-arm plan is often all you need.
Sessions on the Soprano Titanium use a gliding technique with built-in cooling, which makes arms one of the more comfortable areas to treat. Most clients complete 6–8 sessions, spaced 6–8 weeks apart. Hands and fingers take only a few extra minutes and are easy to add to the same visit. As the course goes on, most clients find regrowth becomes lighter, patchier and slower, and many simply stop needing to wax their arms. Individual results vary.
Good to know about this area
Hair density varies along the arm
Forearms tend to have darker, denser hair than upper arms. Your doctor may adjust settings between the two, and some clients need an extra session for finer upper-arm hair.
Fine or light hair
Laser relies on pigment in the hair. Very fine, light or blonde arm hair responds poorly, and your doctor will tell you if you are unlikely to benefit.
Sun exposure
Arms catch a lot of sun. Tanned skin needs gentler settings or a short wait, so daily sunscreen on your arms before and during the course helps keep sessions on track.
Hands and knuckles
Skin over the knuckles is thin and bony, so the fingers can feel slightly sharper than the forearm. The area is small and quick to treat.

Arms & hands laser FAQs
How many sessions do arms need for laser hair removal?
Most clients need 6–8 sessions, spaced 6–8 weeks apart. Darker, coarser forearm hair usually responds sooner than fine upper-arm hair, which can need a session or two more. Your doctor will set a plan after looking at your hair at consultation. Individual results vary.
Should I do half arms or full arms?
It depends on where your hair bothers you. Many clients only have noticeable hair on the forearms, so half arms is enough. If upper-arm hair is also dark or dense, full arms gives a more even result. Your doctor can look at both and help you decide.
Can laser remove hair on my fingers and hands?
Yes. The backs of the hands and fingers can be treated, and are often added to an arm session. The skin over the knuckles is thin, so it can feel a little sharper, but the area is small and quick to treat.
Does laser work on light or fine arm hair?
Laser targets pigment in the hair, so dark hair responds best. Fine, light, blonde or grey hair responds poorly and may not reduce much, however many sessions you have. Our doctors assess your hair at consultation and will tell you honestly if laser is unlikely to help.
Is arm laser hair removal painful?
Arms are one of the more comfortable areas. Most clients feel a warm, gliding sensation with occasional snaps, and the Soprano Titanium’s built-in cooling helps. The hands and knuckles can feel a little sharper because the skin is thinner there.
