What is Hair Botox Treatment?
Hair Botox is a deep-conditioning treatment for the hair strand. Despite the name, it does not contain botulinum toxin and involves no injections. It is a salon-style treatment that coats and conditions the hair with a blend of ingredients such as proteins, oils and conditioning agents, to make it look smoother, softer and shinier.
It can suit hair that feels dry, rough or frizzy, or hair that has been damaged by colouring, heat styling or Delhi's dry winters and humid monsoon. The product is applied to clean hair, left to work, and then sealed in. The effect is cosmetic and temporary, usually lasting some weeks depending on your hair type and how often you wash it.
Hair Botox does not treat hair loss, thinning or scalp conditions, and it does not make new hair grow. If you are losing hair, a doctor's assessment and treatments such as PRP, GFC or hair mesotherapy may be more suitable. Hair Botox is different from keratin or smoothing treatments, but some products can contain similar ingredients, so ask us what is used. Results vary with hair type and condition.
How it works

Your hair is washed with a clarifying shampoo to remove build-up so the treatment can absorb well.

The conditioning treatment is applied section by section from mid-lengths to ends, avoiding the scalp, and left to work.

The hair is rinsed as advised, dried and styled, sometimes with low heat to help seal the treatment.

No. Hair Botox is only a name. It is a conditioning treatment for the hair strand. It contains no botulinum toxin and is not injected.
Does it help with hair fall?
No. It improves how the hair feels and looks, but it does not treat hair loss or the scalp. For hair fall, a doctor's assessment is the right first step.
How long does it last?
Usually some weeks, depending on your hair type, how often you wash and the products you use. It fades gradually.
Is it the same as keratin treatment?
Not exactly. Both aim to smooth hair, but they use different formulas. Some products overlap, so ask us what is used on your hair.
Can I colour my hair after?
Yes, but wait the time we advise. Colouring too soon can affect both the colour and the treatment.
