What is Photo Facial?
The Photo Facial is our core IPL treatment. It combines a full clinical facial — cleansing, microdermabrasion-style exfoliation, extraction and hydration — with intense pulsed light, a broad-spectrum light that is absorbed by excess pigment and small visible vessels.
After the facial steps, a cooled IPL handpiece delivers soft pulses of light across the face. Over a course of 4–6 sessions, two weeks apart, sun spots tend to fade and diffuse redness calms, while the facial steps leave skin brighter and smoother from the first visit. A calming mask and sunscreen complete the hour, and progress photographs help the doctor adjust the light settings as your skin changes.
It sits in the middle of our IPL range: the In-Mode version is lighter for maintenance, and the Pro version adds a peel for more intensive correction. IPL is not right for every concern or skin tone — melasma and deeper pigment may respond better to laser toning — so the doctor assesses your skin first and may start with a test area. Results vary.

How to prepare

Photo Facial FAQs
How is the Photo Facial different from the Pro and In-Mode versions?
The Photo Facial is our standard IPL facial. In-Mode is a lighter maintenance session, and Pro adds a clinical peel for more intensive tone correction.
Why do my spots look darker after a session?
That is a common response to IPL. The darkened pigment usually flakes away over the next week or so.
Is the Photo Facial suitable for Indian skin?
It can be for many lighter and medium skin tones with correct settings. Darker skin needs careful assessment and may suit laser toning better.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually 4–6 sessions, two weeks apart. The doctor adjusts the plan after seeing how your skin responds.
