What is Photo Facial Pro?
Photo Facial Pro is the more intensive version of our IPL facial. The IPL passes are tailored to your skin and main concern, and a clinical peel chosen by the doctor is added after the light treatment, so tone and texture are addressed in the same visit.
The session begins with cleansing, hydration and extraction. IPL pulses then target pigment and small visible vessels, and the peel is applied and carefully timed to lift dull surface cells. A calming mask and sunscreen finish the hour. Courses are usually 4–6 sessions, two weeks apart, and the doctor may adjust the peel strength or skip it at any visit if your skin needs a rest.
It is often chosen when a standard Photo Facial has helped but pigment or redness remains, or when texture is also a concern. Skin may feel tighter and look pinker than after the standard version, and very sensitive skin may not suit the added peel. IPL also needs careful settings on darker skin. The doctor decides whether Pro is right for you, and results vary.

How to prepare
- Avoid sun tanning for 2 weeks before
- Stop retinol and acids 3 days before
- Tell us about any medicines you take
- Skip bleaching, waxing or scrubs on the area for a week

The standard Photo Facial suits most first courses. Pro adds tailored IPL and a clinical peel for pigment or redness that needs more intensive work.
Will the peel make my skin flake?
Some people notice light dryness or flaking for a day or two. Let it come away naturally and keep moisturising.
Can I have Photo Facial Pro before an event?
Allow at least a week so any redness, darkened spots or dryness have settled.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Not always. The doctor may recommend the standard or In-Mode version first if your skin reacts easily.
