What is Restylane?
Restylane is a range of hyaluronic acid products rather than a single filler. The fillers — Kysse for lips, Refyne and Defyne for lines and folds, Lyft and Volyme for cheeks, chin and deeper volume — each have a different firmness, so the doctor can match the product to the area. Restylane Vital is different again: a skinbooster placed in tiny droplets to hydrate the skin, not to add shape.
That range is what sets it apart from the other fillers we use. One consultation can cover softer lips, a smoother smile line and better skin quality, using products designed to sit well together. Filler results are visible straight away and settle over about two weeks; Vital works gradually over a course of three sessions, four weeks apart.
People often choose Restylane when they want more than one area addressed, or a combination of shape and hydration. The doctor assesses your face first and may suggest fewer syringes than you expected — or a different option such as Teoxane RHA or EPTQ, Botox for expression lines, or no treatment at all. Results vary with your anatomy, lifestyle and how your body breaks down hyaluronic acid.

How to prepare
- Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning supplements for 48 hours if possible
- Tell the doctor about medicines, allergies, pregnancy or past filler
- Plan important events at least 2 weeks after
- Come with clean skin and no makeup
What to expect

Aftercare
- No makeup for 12 hours
- No pressing, massage, gym, sauna or alcohol for 24–48 hours
- Do not rub or press the treated area

Side effects & safety
Restylane is placed only by our doctors, who plan each injection around the blood vessels of the face; hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved if ever needed.
Normal, and settles quickly
- Swelling for 1–2 days, more on the lips
- Small bruises or tenderness at injection points
- Tiny bumps after Vital that settle within a day or two
Call us if you notice
- Skin that turns pale, blue, grey or blotchy, or severe pain — call us straight away
- Any change in vision — seek urgent medical help
- Redness, heat or swelling that increases after the first few days
