What is Dermapen Microneedling?
Dermapen microneedling is our core collagen induction treatment. A pen-shaped device moves fine micro-needles rapidly over the skin, creating tiny controlled channels that prompt the skin’s natural repair process. Serums chosen for your concern are applied at the same time, so they can reach below the surface. Unlike most options in this range, it can be used on the body as well as the face.
Numbing cream is applied first, and the doctor sets the needle depth for each area, working more deeply over scars and more lightly on thinner skin. A session takes about an hour, depending on the area, and most people have 1–2 days of redness, similar to a mild sunburn.
It suits acne marks and scars, uneven texture and enlarged pores, and is a common starting point before moving to more intensive options. Deeper or rolling scars and loose skin may respond better to RF microneedling such as MNRF or Morpheus8, which your doctor can discuss. A course of 3–4 sessions, four weeks apart, is typical, and collagen keeps building for months afterwards; results vary.

How to prepare
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for a week
- Stop retinol 5 days before
- Avoid waxing, threading or bleaching the area for a few days

Dermapen or Dermapen 4 — what is the difference?
Both are doctor-led microneedling. Dermapen 4 is a face treatment with a targeted serum step and a calming mask finish, while Dermapen can also treat the body. The doctor will suggest the better fit.
Can Dermapen treat stretch marks?
It can help soften the texture of stretch marks on the body over a course of sessions. Older, white stretch marks tend to change more slowly, and results vary.
How long before I see a difference?
Skin often feels smoother within a week. Changes in scars build gradually over the course and for around three months afterwards.
Is Dermapen suitable for Indian skin?
Generally yes, because it does not rely on heat or light. Careful sun protection afterwards is still important to lower the risk of pigment changes.
