What is MNRF Microneedling?
MNRF (microneedle radiofrequency) uses insulated micro-needles that deliver radiofrequency energy into the deeper layers of the skin. The needles create fine channels, and the heat released at their tips helps remodel scar tissue, tighten the look of pores and gently firm the skin, while the surface is largely protected.
Numbing cream is applied first, then the doctor works over the area in passes, setting depth and energy for the concern. A face session takes about an hour, longer for body areas, and 1–2 days of redness is usual. Because it can be used on almost any body part, MNRF is used for stretch marks as well as facial acne scars.
It suits people with acne scars and large pores who want more than standard microneedling can offer. Compared with Morpheus8, MNRF is usually chosen for scars and pores on the face and for body texture, while Morpheus8 is more focused on deeper remodelling and firmness. A course of 3–4 sessions, four weeks apart, is typical, with collagen continuing to build for months. Results vary, and the doctor assesses suitability first.

How to prepare

MNRF or Morpheus8 — which do I need?
Both combine microneedling and radiofrequency. MNRF is well suited to scars, pores and body texture; Morpheus8 reaches deeper for firmness and remodelling. The doctor will recommend one after assessing your skin.
Can MNRF help stretch marks?
It can be used on body areas to soften the texture of stretch marks over a course. Older, white marks change more slowly, and results vary.
How is MNRF different from Dermapen?
Dermapen uses needles alone. MNRF adds radiofrequency heat at the needle tips, which works more deeply on scars and firmness.
Is MNRF suitable for Indian skin?
It is often a good option for darker skin because most of the energy is delivered below the surface. Strict sun protection afterwards is still essential.
