What is Fire & Ice Facial?
The Fire & Ice Facial is a two-phase medi-facial built around contrast. The “fire” phase is an intensive resurfacing masque that renews the skin’s surface layer; the “ice” phase follows with a cooling, hydrating treatment that calms the skin and seals in moisture. It is shorter and more focused than most of our medi-facials, taking around 30 minutes.
After a two-step cleanse, the resurfacing masque is brushed on and left to work while you may feel a gentle warmth. It is then neutralised and removed, any congested pores are cleared, and the cooling phase settles the skin. The aim is smoother texture and a fresh, even look without peeling.
Clients usually choose it when skin looks dull or feels rough, or a few days before an event when they want a polished finish in a short visit. It is not a deep chemical peel, so it will not treat melasma or acne scars on its own; for those, our doctor may suggest a peel or laser plan instead. Very sensitive or reactive skin may suit a gentler hydration facial — your skin is checked first, and results vary from person to person.

Does the Fire & Ice Facial make your skin peel?
Most people do not see visible peeling. The masque works on the very top layer, so skin usually looks smoother rather than flaky; slight dryness for a day is possible.
How is it different from a chemical peel?
A clinical peel works deeper and often brings a few days of flaking. The Fire & Ice Facial is a gentler resurfacing step inside a facial, with a cooling finish and no downtime.
How soon before an event should I book it?
Two to five days before suits most people, so any pinkness has settled and makeup sits well on the smoother surface.
Does it feel hot?
You may feel warmth and tingling while the masque works. It should be comfortable — tell your therapist if it feels too strong and it can be removed sooner.
