What is NAD+ IV Drip?
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a molecule found in every cell. It helps the body turn food into energy and supports normal cell repair. Levels tend to fall with age, which is why NAD+ drips are often promoted for energy, focus and healthy ageing. At Paradise Wellness an NAD+ IV drip is given only after a doctor has assessed you.
It is important to know what the evidence shows. Research on NAD+ in people is still early. Most studies are small, and many look at oral supplements rather than drips. There is no good proof yet that an NAD+ drip slows ageing, treats any disease or improves skin. Some people say they feel more energetic; others feel no difference. If you are tired all the time, a doctor should first look for causes such as low iron, thyroid problems, vitamin D or B12 deficiency, or poor sleep.
NAD+ has to be given slowly. A fast drip can cause flushing, nausea, chest tightness or stomach cramps, so the infusion often takes a few hours and the rate is adjusted to how you feel. The drip is not suitable in pregnancy or while breastfeeding, and your doctor will take extra care if you have heart, kidney or liver disease, or a history of cancer.
How it works
- 01
Doctor consultation and screening
Your doctor asks about your health, medicines and symptoms, explains the evidence honestly and may ask for blood tests to look for other causes of tiredness first.
- 02
Cannula placement
A small cannula is placed in a vein in your arm while you sit in a comfortable chair.
- 03
Slow, adjusted infusion
The drip starts slowly. If you feel flushed, queasy or tight in the chest, the team slows or pauses it. This is why the session can take a few hours.
- 04
Rest and review
When the drip ends, the cannula is removed and you rest briefly. The team checks that you feel well before you go home.

NAD+ IV Drip FAQs
Does an NAD+ drip slow ageing?
There is no good evidence in people that it does. NAD+ is an active area of research, but most studies are small and early. We offer the drip as a supervised wellness option, not as an anti-ageing treatment.
Why does the drip take so long?
NAD+ given quickly often causes flushing, nausea, cramps or chest tightness. A slow drip, adjusted to how you feel, is more comfortable and safer. The time depends on the dose your doctor chooses.
Will I feel more energetic afterwards?
Some people report more energy; others notice no change. Results vary. If you are often tired, it is worth having blood tests for common causes such as low iron, thyroid problems or vitamin deficiencies first.
Can I take NAD+ supplements instead?
Tablets and capsules that raise NAD+ levels are sold widely, and their evidence is also limited. Please discuss any supplement with your doctor, especially if you take other medicines.
Can I drive home after the drip?
Most people feel fine and can go about their day. If you felt unwell during the drip, rest until you are comfortable, and consider having someone take you home.
How much does an NAD+ IV drip cost?
It depends on the dose and number of sessions your doctor recommends after screening. The cost is confirmed at a free in-clinic consultation, and EMI options are available.
