What is Lip Peel?
The lip peel is a gentle clinical peel made for the thin skin of the lips. It helps fade pigmentation and reveal softer lips with a more natural, even tone. It is milder than the peels we use on the face and body, and the doctor applies it carefully to the lips and lip border.
The peel loosens darker surface cells so they shed over 2–3 days, leaving the lips smoother. Repeated every four weeks over 4–6 sessions, it gradually evens out patchiness. Each visit takes about 30 minutes and you can return to your day afterwards.
People choose a lip peel for lips that have darkened with sun, smoking, lip-licking, dryness or reactions to lip products. Dark lips can also run in families or be linked to medical causes, so the doctor looks at the pattern first and tells you what change is realistic.
