What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 combines microneedling with deep radiofrequency energy. Fine needles carry heat into the deeper layers of the skin, where it remodels collagen and tightens tissue. It is the deepest-reaching option in our RF microneedling range and can be used on the face and body, including the jawline, neck and areas of looser skin.
Numbing cream is applied first, and the doctor sets the depth and energy for each area, working more deeply along the jawline or on the body and more lightly on thinner skin. A session takes about an hour. Expect 2–3 days of redness and some swelling, with tiny grid marks that fade as the skin heals.
It is often chosen for early sagging and loose skin, and for acne scars that sit alongside some loss of firmness. It is not a replacement for surgery, or for fillers where volume has been lost, and the doctor will be honest if another treatment would suit you better. A course of 4–6 sessions, four weeks apart, is typical, and firming builds gradually over the following months; results vary.

How to prepare
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for a week
- Stop retinol 5 days before
- Avoid waxing, threading or bleaching the area for a few days
- Tell the doctor about any medicines, implants or skin conditions

Morpheus8 or HIFU for loose skin?
HIFU uses focused ultrasound without needles, while Morpheus8 combines needles with radiofrequency and also works on scars and texture. The doctor will suggest one, or a combination, after assessing your skin.
Is Morpheus8 painful?
Numbing cream makes it comfortable for most people, though you feel heat and pressure. Deeper settings over bony areas can be more intense.
How much downtime should I plan for?
Usually 2–3 days of redness and swelling. Many people schedule it before a weekend.
When will I see results?
Skin often looks smoother within a couple of weeks, but firming builds gradually for about three months after the course.
