What is Morpheus8 + PRP?
Morpheus8 + PRP adds platelet-rich plasma from your own blood to a standard Morpheus8 session. After the RF microneedling, PRP is applied to the treated skin so the growth factors it contains can reach the fresh micro-channels and support the healing response.
A small blood sample is taken at the start of the visit and spun to concentrate the plasma while numbing cream takes effect. The doctor then treats the area with Morpheus8 at the depth and energy set for your skin, and applies the PRP. The whole visit takes around 90 minutes, and 2–3 days of redness and swelling is usual.
It is usually chosen for acne scars with some laxity, or by people who want extra support for healing alongside RF remodelling. Because PRP is made from your own blood, the risk of allergy is very low, though blood disorders and some medicines need discussing first. Adding PRP can support recovery, but outcomes still vary between people, and the doctor will advise whether it is worth adding for you. A course of 4–6 sessions, four weeks apart, is typical.

How to prepare
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for a week
- Stop retinol 5 days before
- Eat a light meal and drink plenty of water beforehand
