What is Skin Mesotherapy?
Skin mesotherapy delivers a doctor-selected blend of vitamins and actives directly into the skin, rather than relying on creams to get past the surface. Depending on your skin and comfort, the doctor uses tiny micro-injections, a Dermapen, or both, placing the blend evenly across the face.
Numbing cream is applied first so the session stays comfortable. It takes about an hour, and the most common after-effect is small bumps at the treatment points, which usually settle within 1–2 days. The blend is customised, so it can lean towards hydration, brightness or overall skin quality, depending on what the doctor finds at assessment.
It suits dull, dehydrated skin and early fine lines, and people who want nourishment more than resurfacing. Compared with other options in our microneedling range, it is the most injection-based, so tell us if you bruise easily or take blood thinners. It is not a filler, so it will not restore lost volume, and it is not designed to treat deep scars. A course of 3–4 sessions, four weeks apart, is usual; results vary.
